I havent understand yet.My vcr a Panasonic have on and off function on the same button. Say for example that I make a macro containing "proj on, amp on, and vcr on"and my vcr already is on then this macro will turn it off, or what????????? Any help is interesting. Thanx, Orjan.

This is the definition of a toggle button. You want discrete ON and OFF codes, in other words, IR signals that tell the unit to do only one thing: ON or OFF. Look in this forum for discrete codes for better definitions and explanations.
Then look in the FILES section to see if someone has discrete codes already for your particular VCR, then "borrow" them.

Orjan,
Many of the Panasonic VCR's don't have discrete codes for on and off. I have one myself. You are correct in that if the VCR is already on, your macro will turn it off. You might try leaving the power command out of your macro and just put a power button on the panel for your VCR. Alternatively, you could leave the power command in your macro and still have a power button on your vcr panel to turn it back on if it's out of sync.
