Hi,

I have found here the discrete Power IR codes for the Sony TV.
The Power-On code works but not the Power-Off.
(there is just a special entry for the Power-On European TV, not for the Power-Off)
I have a Sony KV-FD32.

Thanks in advance for all helps.

I've got this set too and would also appreciate this code.

Thanks everyone,
Darren

While you're waiting for the discrete code, you could use a discrete on and then a power toggle code to get the TV off.

The three Sony TVs we have in our households have discrete power offs on their normal remotes!

It's a green button with the power symbol on it. You can only switch off the TV with this button. If you want to switch the TV on, you have to use one of the number buttons!

This works with my KV-36FS70 in Sweden.
Power on:
0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03f6
Power off:
0000 0067 0000 000d 0060 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 03de

I have found the following works with my UK Sony:

On:
0000 0068 0000 001a 0060 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0708 0060 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0708
Off:
0000 0068 0000 001a 0060 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0708 0060 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0018 0708

The codes might look a bit long, but don't worry each is the same sequence repeated once to make sure the TV receives it OK.
