I tried downloading a configuration to the remote, it downloaded, a message came up saying 'Downloaded configuration into Pronto'.
But then the remote beeps & this message comes up ' Invalid file version, Revert will restart Pronto with the original configuration'.
'Upload' won't work either, a message comes up saying 'File is not a valid Pronto configuration'.

I tried removing & re-inserting both ends of the cable but that doesn't help...
What else could be making this happen?

thanks.

Are both Pronto and Prontoedit at the same version?

Gab,

Anthony is correct, regardless of what the APP is on your Pronto, first use tools and update Pronto. When mine came the Pronto said it had the same APP as PE, but I got the same message until I updated the firmware.
