I have to Sony changers with codeswitched to "1" and "2".
The Ir-codes for button "Play" for example are in the suffix the same, only the prefix are different (logical, this is the device code).
Can I generate two prefix codes and for the buttons the suffix codes and then in the real device panel combine prefix and suffix? When yes, how can I do this.

There's so much overhead creating the actual devices, panels and buttons, that the few bytes you'd save attempting this would be negligible at best.
