Have any Australian Pronto owners out there had to contact Philips Australia due to a problem with their remote? My silver UK Pronto comes with a booklet claiming that the unit is covered by a world-wide warranty.

Never had a problem with my remote yet....and I've dropped it plenty of times, but as to the remote warranty, why would they not honour it..?
Especially if you have the documents showing them THEIR warranty....

I managed to get Philips Australia to replace my Pronto.
Just took it to an authorised repair centre who called Philips and they arranged the replacement.
