When I try to download my CCF, it says that my file is corrupted, and thows the remote back into its default settings. The Emulators says the same thing. I am using the newst version of the RC5000 set software 2.0. I have an RC5000, not an RC5000i. I am asuming that the old software was used to program the default ccf. Any Ideas?

You may be using RC5000 Setup 2.0, but have you updated your RC5000's firmware to match? You should have APP v5.0.

Jared,

See my remarks on updating the firmware in the following thread: "Configuration file corrupted - I have updated the RC5000".
Hope this helps.

it seems to happen most when V2 RC5000 EDIT is set to 1 MB VS 2 MB. You'll get the message even when you run the emulator. A jump is made forward or backward on a panel without having another button for the opposite. For example, having a forward jump without also having a button for a backward jump. Doesn't seem to happen with RC5000 EDIT set to 2 MB.

I did have the same problem when using the BACKWARD jump on a soft key. Did not happen, however, if I used the lower (left/right) hard key. So I have BACKWARD now on the left hard key. Did not experiment further, though.

PS: I just bought a Philips Pronto, so I have now both the gold Marantz RC5000 and the silver Philips Pronto. Now I can play both with beeps and timers on the Pronto, and with the animations on the RC5000.

I had corruption problems when using BACKWARD jump on a soft button.

If you put a 0.1s delay on the same button as the BACKWARD jump, it solves the problem.

Rich.

Yup, that's mentioned on the RC5000 v2.0 download page on this site.
