I found some discrete codes I would like to put into my CCF. How do I use the hex code and implement it into proto edit?

Assuming you have a "macro / button" set up to carry out multiple functions at the touch of a single button. The discrete codes will provide you with a "True / Known" state for the given piece of equipment. For example: If you want a particular button to turn on your TV and start an DVD playing, then you will want the button to, 1) Turn on TV 2) Turn on DVD 3) Change TV input to correct setting 4) Start DVD playing
However if your TV and DVD are already on then you don't want the button to turn the TV and DVD off (this will happen if you are using the "power toggle" IR code, most commonly learnt from your original remote) when you press it, Therefore using the Discrete "On" code will ensure no undesired effects take place when you press the button. Hope this makes sense, it doesn’t read very well. Regards, Lee.

Lee, I understand "HOW" discrete codes work, I don't understand how to take: 0000 0067 0000 0010 0060 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0018 0030 0018 0018 0018 0030 0303
and put it into pronto edit.

Simply Cut and Paste the hex code into any learned button in your CCF. If you don't have a spare button, set up any old button, learn any old IR code command, then cut and paste the hex code into it (Double click on the button. Then double click on the "learned" IR code and paste your discrete code over the learned one). Then simply label the button so you know what it does and alias to it from you macro's when it is required. Lee.
