I have a RC5000 and have been using the setup program to configure it to my own liking. I have been using bits from various ccf files posted to this site. Thank you contributors.

I am using a macro from one of those files that displays icons for Sky TV Channels and when an icon is pressed switches to the selected channel.

Problem:
I want to use my own buttons on the Sky device setup but if I replace the existing buttons the macro loses all line entries for the button.

I have tried several things to replace the existing buttons without losing their function in the macro
to no avail. Can anyone advise me.

Cheers

Steve

Assuming you have "your" button and the existing buttons on the same panel, use alt-drag to replace the existing button with your button. In other words, click on your button to select, hold down the alt key while you drag your button on top of the existing button. The outline of the existing button will turn green. When you let go of the mouse, the icon will change to that of your button, but the actions will remain the same. One thing to watch out for. If your new button graphic is bigger than the existing button graphic, it will be truncated when you replace it. Just make sure the existing button is the same size (or larger) before you start.

The size of a button is automatically adjusted to the size of the smallest icon on the button. If you are seeing truncation, you must have a small icon as one of the four possible icons. Just check the icons and delete any you don't want (probably an Inactive icon).
