I've just downloaded ProntoEdit from the RC site (actually two times from two different FTP sites). After installation, when trying to open the program, I get the following Error Message:
Error Starting Program: The PROTOEDIT.EXE file is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL:6880.
As I said, i've installed and uninstalled multiple times, but always get this message. I'm running on Windows 95 OS. I've searched the forum and FAQ, but haven't found reference to this problem.
Any ideas? Thanks!
Chuck

I had the same problem and had some excellent help from the guys on this forum which sorted it out. Basically your pc/ laptop has an old version of that file whilst ProntoEdit works on a new version. If you search for a thread started by Andrea Whittock(?)on the new Marantz software, you will find a solution.
