I have a Toshiba TV, and while I've managed to come up with sequences that mimic the Video 1, Video 2, and Video 3 input selections, I have not figured out a reliable way to mimic discrete codes for Antenna 1 and Antenna 2.

Has anyone else tackled this problem?

Thanks!
Dale

The way that I got it to work is by changing the channel to '03' first, then sending the 'TV/Video' twice for Ant/2 etc. It's only a temporary hack, but it works for me. One downside is that you loose the channel you were on. One possible work-around would be a 'Channel-Up' then a 'Channel-Down' instead of the '03'.

I use Favorite Up. Since I don't use the tuner on the TV to change channels, I haven't programmed in any "favorites". This will also bring you back to the first input. If you're interested, I've got macros for all of this (for a TW56X81) in my CCF file (based on one of your wonderful designs).

Well, basically, what I'm setting up here is a separate device that lets me use the dual antennas on my TV to switch between the A and B sides of my cable. Normally, I watch TV through the ReplayTV, but when it's recording, I can't use it, or the cable box. So I want the TV tuner to work for me.

I don't think my TV has a "Favorites" function, so I'm probably toast there. I can get it to choose ONE of the Antenna inputs by changing channel, but it always goes to the most recently used antenna. I can't figure out how to get the darned thing to discretely pick one or the other.

Unfortunately, my TV was built in 1992, and it doesn't have some of the functions that the newer sets offer. But hopefully, some procedure will turn up.

Thanks,
Dale
