I have my system completely automated except for the 3-digit code for the Dish 5000 that would control the JVC 9600u SVHS (for timer recording). This is the code you would put into through the dish menus.
(PS: I have tried using the Pronto, but its pretty time consuming to go through all the steps on the VCR to do timed recordings off satellite)..also, I leave my Dish 5000 on ALL the time and would prefer to leave the VCR on ALL the time.
