My Pronto is having a problem which occured once before. The mesage on the pronto is "corrupted configuration file". My file was fine, then I added some new graphics for a device, and boom. Usually, it works for about 2-3 screens, but when I page to a particular page (maybe), it goes corrupt.

I think I am running pronto 1.1?

I also have an RC-5000, and would like to run the same file, that is if I get a good one of the new build. Good thing is, at least I have my "pre-edited" version" to start with again. That one doesn't crap out.

Is there anything to do with the graphic files that can produce this error?

Thanks,

Lex

No, but you may have added a hidden page. Update your remote's firmware to the latest version using ProntoEdit v1.05 or RC5000 Setup v1.02.3 (depending on which remote you're using -- do not use the wrong software).

Thanks Daniel for the response, I will investigate further.

Was my message edited for referring to another home theater forum? I don't think that was appropriate. Especially without even saying you did it.

We frequently allow references to other home theater sites at that "other forum" where specific content applies as it did here. Perhaps we should re-evaluate our position regarding this and remote central...

Thanks,

Lex

No, nothing was edited. It would appear you simply didn't type an address in.

Ok thanks Daniel, sorry for the comment and the confusion. Perhaps I typed that in at another forum. Pardon me while I go eat some crow...

I like remote central as a resource, so I certainly want to get along:) Great site.

Lex
