Hi,

does anyone know the frequency range the pioneer remotes work in (for VSA-E07 HT-amp and/or VSX-908RDS-G receiver)? Is the range compatible with the Philips PRONTO (<= 56kHz)? Has anyone used the PRONTO for one of these devices?

Thanx in advance,
Martin

Well, considering the 608 and 808 are in the file area, it would stand that the 908 should work as well. Should. :-) Don't know about the amplifier but it ought to be fine as well.

The discrete codes off the Pronto site do strange things with the 908. The discrete "on" turns on both the main and multi room zones from either IR input and the off's are likewise. There is no status output for the multizone so I have to use a Gatekeeper w/the LED sense module (but it works!) Other than that it is the cleanest Pioneer Multiroom unit yet!

I have a 908 and the discreet on/off codes from this site mentioned by Daniel work perfectly. Haven't had the problem that David has neither. Could do with codes for stereo and surround that don't toggle with Stereo DNR and MPEG, respectively.
