Does anyone know if there is a hidden service menu for the Toshiba 40PW8DB rear projection TV? If so, do you know how to access it?

This works on my Tosh so give it a try: I should say that the credit is not mine but a chap, name of Chris Laird I think, so if it works its down to him. Try it and see, certainly does on my Tosh but wouldn't it be even nicer to have a list of what EXACTLY each option is working on without needing to try first! Anyone got a co,mplete list of service options??

Mute the sound from the remote
Hold down the mute button on the remote and press the menu button on the
TV itself

This should get you into the service menu - you should see an S in the
top right of the screen. From here the program up/down buttons (again on
the TV itself) select what parameter you're adjusting and the volume
up/down buttons change the value.

Obviously the ususal service menu warnings apply. Write down the
original settings so you can go back to them, and only change one thing
at once.
