Each time I want to program a key with LEARN IR ProntoEdit crashes and W2000 shuts PE down. Am I doing something wrong or is it just another bug in PE1.05?

No, not just another bug but the same bug that has allways been there when using PE with any NT based OS. The only safe way to lean codes is to do it direct on the Pronto and then upload with PE.....

I use Win2000 Pro and I don't have any problems with PE. In an other thread I read that this problem only occurs if the batteries are not full. I use the docking station when I work with PE.

I also own the Pronto just a few days and I downloaded a lot of the ccf's to learn from other users. My question is: Why does nobody give the devices the correct names i.e. "Sony ...." instead of reciever. It would be a lot easier for other users to merge the ccf's without having 3 recievers and 5 DVD's.
