I've been searching for over a year - I'm confident they don't exist. There is a workaround for selecting inputs which I've incorporated into my CCF, but in the end, I got an X-10 module to turn the unit on and off.

Keiron,

What is the workaround for input selection? I have SDPE800 that uses 9ES codes.

Well, the trick is to always have it set to input 1 whenever you switch the unit on and off (which is done via an X10 module in my case). Also, every source connected to the 9ES is treated as a single device (so you can’t access them from the device bar – which may or may not cause you a problem). So if your homepage has ‘watch a DVD’ or ‘listen to CD’ or ‘listen to MD’ and all these are connected to the 9ES, then whichever you select will take you to the same ‘welcome’ panel.

On this ‘welcome’ panel, I have a row of buttons along the top (eg CD1, CD2, MD, DVD). Since the input is set to 1, when I select the source which is 2, then it will alias ‘input up’ once and jump to the appropriate panel for that device; if it’s input 3 then it aliases ‘input up’ twice etc. This row of buttons is repeated along the top of each panel in the device. So, if I want to switch to input 2 if I’m listening to input 4, pressing the button aliases ‘input down’ twice. It’s quite simple if you think about it.

The important thing is that whenever you switch off, input 1 must be selected and you must go back to the ‘welcome’ panel for the device. This is easily achieved: if for example you switch off whilst on input 3, you alias ‘input down’ twice and jump to the ‘welcome’ panel, if you’re on input 4 you alias ‘input down’ three times etc.

It does work, honest, and I may say so I believe it to be my greatest Pronto achievement to date!
