I was wondering, can I use ccf files from this web site that were originally made for the pronto remote on my RC5000 or do I need to look for files from other peoples RC5000 remotes.

Many Thank in Advance
Chris

CCFs are, for all practical purposes, the same between RC5000 Setup v1.02 and ProntoEdit v1.05.

What about discrete IR codes?

Discrete IR codes are specific to the device (DVD, DSS, VCR, etc) and not the remote.

The ccf files, gallerys, bmps and codes are pretty much cross platform for the pronto and the rc5000. The only real difference is the software used to build and edit the ccfs for the remotes.
