Unbelievably, if you want to record a macro, as descibed in the manual, you don't select REC (you can't because it doesn't exist) but you select EDIT. Neil Gill (Marantz UK - top man) gave me this little gem when I called in desparation. It may be a good gizza, but the manuals are punk! Sevenoaks HiFi (Guildford) havent had a single complaint - am I the only one who actually programs macros?!

Richard,

Most of us don't ever get to see this as we program our macros in ProntoEdit (which is much more versatile and powerful).

It was changed from REC to EDIT when timers came out as the word REC did not make sense when setting up a timer.
