I am trying to learn how to use this tool, but when I open it, it appears that my system does not support whatever font is being used to label the panels and devices. All I get are lots of small oxes and other random symbol charaters anda few numbers next to each item. Also, all error messages are in French, (I think). All of the menus are in english. I downloaded it today from the utilities section of Remote central. I'm using Win2K in the US. Thanks...joe

Sorry, I can't really help -- I haven't used the software. You can try searching this forum for irdatabase for more help. But the version on Remote Central is fairly old.

I have a Pronto data base generator that can build exactly the files you want. It runs from an english language desription of the protocol. Here are the two tables that I use to generate for the Pioneer DV-F07 330 disc DVD mega changer. These tables generate the data as a single packed one time field but will also generate is a one time and repeat if configured slightly differently. The program also allows one to generate all possible codes, however for the DV-F07 that might be too many since both parts of the packed codes vary!.

Drop me an email if you want me to generate a set,and let me know how you want it formatted with respect to one time and repeat.

Here is the protocol description:

Protocol=Pioneer
Frequency=40000
Time Base=500
One=1,-3
Zero=1,-1
Prefix=17,-9
suffix=1,-45
Form=*,d:8,-d:8,f:8,-f:8,_

And here is the device file:

Manufacturer=PIONEER
Device=DVD Changer
Model=DV-F07
Remote=DVD
Protocol=Pioneer
