Daniel - Have read reviews of the Pronto for some time and am very interested despite documented re-booting and other problems. However, I know the MX-1000 is soon to come on the scene at a fairly comparable price. Any current comparisons or any idea when this oft' delayed remote will arrive so I can see a review?

I don't know if Daniel did a review on this remote yet, but did you try under the Reviews section. Just click on this in the remote at the top of the page. Daniel provides great reviews on these and there probably is one for this remote as well.

Nope, nothing for the MX-1000 yet -- the last time I saw it was during CES in January. You can find photos and everything I learned there in my CES2000 Report (in the FEATURES section). I certainly hope to review it when it comes out, but I'm waiting like everyone else.
