Does anybody own a Panasonic DVD A300? Is there any discrete code for this first generation Pana DVD player at all? Only models I see here is the 310 and 110 ones.

Jeff, doesn't the A310 codes work on your A300? I am using A110/A310 discrete codes on my A120 without a problem.

But then yours would be a backwards compatibility issue...
