Does anyone know if the backlight and graphics on the Marantz are more visable then on the Pronto?.(pronto seems hard to view in a semi lit room)Or are they the same?.

Exactly the same. However they may subjectively appear different due to the difference in case colors between the units....

Some people think the RC5000 is brighter, however it's an optical illusion. As soon as you cover up the cases they're exactly the same.
