I purchased my silver pronto on Friday from etronix.com. I was upgrading from a Marantz RC-2000. It's taken me almost a week of nights (several hours a night) to hack up a new user interface for each of my home theatre devices, and recode everything from my old Marantz. Though it has taken some time to complete, I am extremely happy.

This remote does almost everything I could hope for. In every place that there were annoyances with the old Marantz, there are now solutions with the Pronto. I did like the larger volume buttons on the Marantz, as well as the cool multi-colored lighting for different buttons and LCD, however the Pronto has it beat hands down with configurability and macro capability.

I was upset when I found out I no longer had a light sensor, but with the docking station, who gives a crap. I just slap it on the charger when the batteries are low. With the Marantz, I had to keep a box of 20 AA batteries in the drawer. Rechargables just didn't last long enough.

Thanks Philips, and thanks Remote Central for making it so easy.
