Wondering if anyone out there is using a Sony plasma w/ a Pronto or RC5000. If so, do the discretes for Sony tvs in the files section operate the set?

In some cases, you don't have to have the exact component to work. Several of my CCFs were for different models of the same brand, but they worked just fine. And by the way, don't make FRC mad.

You may want to try the codes from some of the sony
front projection products.

the only way the new high def sony plasma works is with rs232 coding. sorry.

RS232 is okay, as long as I can get the command strings. Does anyone have the rs232 strings? The regular def unit does come with a remote though.
