When I download a ccf to my Pronto (which I just got yesterday), the computer will not recognize the Pronto unless I first tap the screen to wake it up. Is this normal? It is the same on two different computers. If the Pronto is dark, just laying there and I start a download to it, it says "No configuration info found, want to overwrite?" Then if I say yes, it tries and then says "operation failed"...

Thanks

I wouldn't call it "normal", but it certainly is common. Mine does that about 50% of the time.

That must be annoying! It hasn't happened on mine at all. The only time it gives me a hard time is when I forget to plug the cable into the Pronto (about 50% of the time).

Tweeking the COM port might help. You might try a slower speed. Is the COM port being shared with any other devices?

Settings on my COM1:

Baud Rate: 115200
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: Hardware
FIFO: Enabled
