Having searched and tried all the TV and VCR discrete codes posted here, there and everywhere I am still at a loss.
Has anyone found the fabled Panasonic discrete codes.

Why can't Panasonic help - don't they understand that as more and more people get hooked it can actually dissuade them to by the product if is not able to be fully integrated within an existing system.

Thanks - just in case

Do you mean for AV switching? There aren't any that I've found - I've checked with a Panasonic TX-36PF10 TV.

As a work around, I've set up the following macros for switching AV input:

AV1: red -> delay 0.2 -> red -> blue -> osd -> delay 0.1 -> osd

AV2: red -> delay 0.2 -> red -> delay 0.2 -> green -> osd -> delay 0.1 -> osd

AV3: red -> delay 0.2 -> red -> delay 0.2 -> yellow -> osd -> delay 0.1 -> osd

AV4: red -> delay 0.2 -> red -> delay 0.2 -> blue -> osd -> delay 0.1 -> osd

The double OSD quickly removes the TVs info banner telling you what the coloured buttons do, in case you want to switch channels again (else you have to wait, and this can foul up further macros.)

** This will only work if AV1 is an RGB input (I have my DVD connected here) else you'll end up switching between the video and s-video modes.

BTW, the discrete ON/OFF codes listed on this site DO work.

Thanks again

I have also had little success in finding Panasonic codes that work. My TV is a CT36G23. I've tried several codes from this site, but I haven't found discrete on/off codes that work.

Any help would be appreciated.

I verified that the on/off and input1, 2, 3 & 4 (componet) listed under the Panasonic Discrete codes work on a Panasonic PT-56WXF95.

Someone else posted a discrete code for cycling through the sleep timer (one of the most obnoxious things on the Panasonic TV). That worked fine as well.

Maybe some model TV's don't work, but please try the items that have been posted.
