I've been "playing"with ProntoEdit for about 4 days now (on and off). Go the hang of CCF's, tools, gallery, etc. What I don't get is IR codes? To do macros, or "Actions". I've already got the Pronto programed for my equipment so I have [C]learned codes. But when i go to the IR DB, they aren't there? Am I "thicK" or dull or something? How do you get to the learned IR codes? Or??? Help! Help!

Larry

It doesn't make sense that if you've taught your Pronto (godd remote...good remote..sit...sit) that the IR "learned" codes are inaccessiable. Cause how do you do macro's(which I have stillnot gotten!!) BTW The manual SUCKS! In my humble opinion.

Larry, if you double click on the "[C]Learned" listing under the Action tab of the properties dialog box, the learned IR code will be visable.

In order to save these to the IR database you will need to either have MS Access or IRDatabase, which can be downloaded from "WWW.IRDATABASE.COM" although I cannot seem to download them. If you can it would be great if you can email them to me at "[email protected]".

To use the codes in macros, put an alias to the button with the learned code in the action list for the macro. You can do this in any action list, so you don't need to create macros for everything, you can just add a button to a device panel and make it alias the button with the real code. There are pleanty of CCF's in the files section that you can look at to get some clues.
