Mike deserves a medal. It would appear that nothing seems to be too much trouble. Information supplied orders despatced promptly. Let's hope he too becomes an "Internet Millionaire"

I said I'd be a repeat customer.
I have now been, and received excellent service again.

If anyone has doubts about Mike or LetAutomate... you're mistaken.

I'll second everything. I have bought a lot of stuff before from the 'net but this is my best experience yet.

Can't say enough about Letsautomate. I began a search for a Pronto a little over a week ago and could not find anything locally or on the internet in the U.S. I was even told by the major distributor here in the U.s. that the if I were to order a Pronto from a local dealer (Denver, Colorado) that I would be lucky to get it in six months. I ordered a Pronto from Mike last Friday late (05/05/00) and I received it today. I got a fair price considering that most dealers here are selling it at list price. Just spent the entire evening seting up my first two components. Everything is working great.

I assume that Erick Otto who asked the question in the first place has done the sensible thing and purchased from lets automate already but I just had to join the Mike Huggins fan club. In case anyone else is thinking of buying a Pronto on the internet.

FORGET EVERYWHERE ELSE go to Letsautomate now.
Brilliant service.

Having just received my first order, I can only say that shopping with letsautomate.com has been one of the best online shopping experiences I have had.

Keep it up Mike!

Having read all the very positive comments re letsautomate, I'm going to buy my Pronto from them. Just one question, how long does delivery to mainland UK take - is it by courier?

I have placed three orders with them, and all have arrived next day by courier.
Fantastic service all round. The best internet based company I have ever used.

Well Done Mike.

You deserve all the business you get Mike! You work V.hard for it and do a fine job.
I've spent without control at your site and bought everything I thought I even ~might~ be able to use. Some of the stuff I havn't been able to make work yet, but I bought it anyway! If you ever see any of those screw cap to bayonet converters for the X10 light thingos, let me know.
I bought a bullet camera that couldn't see and it was replaced within a couple of days.

Thanks Mike! The net needs more people like you. You're getting everything right.

Regards,

Jon

I inquired about the pricing (conversion from pounds to US dollars, etc.) from letsautomate.com at midnight Pacific Coast time. I received an automated reply from Mike Huggans within minutes directing me to: [Link: letsautomate.com]. It answered ALL my questions. Bottom line - Pronto will cost roughly $266 US dollars, plus shipping for $40 US, plus a customs charge of about $20 for a total of $286. It's a bargain considering the lowest price I've found in the US is $379. I'll order from letsautomate in a few minutes. If you add the Docking station (charger), add another $80 US (includes shipping)for a total of $346.

Thanks Mike - Great site!

Sorry about the math in my previous posting. I didn't add the $40 shipping. The total comes to roughly $326 and with the docking station $406. Still a bargain.

By the way, the Pronto description and photos from letsautomate are the best I've seen anywhere.

Thanks again.
