I have a GI Cable Box (issues by AT&T cable services for their Digital Cable service). There is no model number on the box, but I am guessing it is in the GI 1000 family of boxes.
Am I correct in assuming that there are no known discrete codes for this box? There is nothing in the online database here, and none of the configs that support the GI 1000 seem to use a Discrete power code...
Thanks,
Jason

Yep, you'd be right. There aren't any discrete codes for the GI cable boxes. I've just ended up leaving mine on all the time.

I also have a GI cable box from AT&T cable services for their Digital Cable Service. No model number on the device, but I thought that it was the DCT-2000 model. I believe that I saw a picture somewhere on the web, but cannot remember where. No discrete codes however. -Rene

Actually, I looked it up again, and searched the GI catalog at www.gi.com. I found a picture of the DCT-2000 at [Link: gicout50.gic.gi.com]DCT stands for Digital Consumer Terminal. -Rene
