I try to downloand or upload to the Pronto and I get a error message saying the device is too low on battery to upload.
The battery is fully charged on on the docking station....
any ideas on what causes this...

Welcome to Remote Central - note that you will get more responses by posting in the Pronto NG forum, which is what you have (not an original pronto).
Try rebooting it, or disconnecting/reconnecting the battery.
