I have a dying remote for my lexicon cp-2. Looking for a real remote. Do i need the pronto or other could work as well. ( i need the code cause i don't know when it will be over for my remote)

If it's still working, any learning remote will do. If not, you'll really need a computer programmable remote to download a config, but I don't see any Pronto or Home Theater Master files for the CP-2.

Have you tried emailing or phoning Lexicon or RTI? RTI made some remotes for Lexicon, and they might have an answer, or Lexicon might have some of them on hand. Who knows without asking?

Lexicon could not help me, but i will try rti.
Maybe an idea would be to buy a cheap learning remote (fast) make it learn my remote than eventually use this one to make my futur "real" remote learn from that one.
P.s. i'm in no hurry i prefer to know what i buy before making the plunge.
