Hi does anybody out there have a ccf built of this projector? I purchased the projector used and it didn't have the original remote. thanks

There is a JP1 upgrade for exactly that model in the new JP1 file area (the one you can access without joining the old Yahoo forum):

That lists the protocol as NEC1 and the device as 48 and the following function numbers:

00 - left arrow
02 - right arrow
08 - tv/vcr
10 - up arrow
11 - RGB input
13 - composite input
16 - pip on/off
19 - s-video input
20 - Y/Pb/Pr input
24 - power
26 - pip move
32 - down arrow
40 - pip freeze
42 - mute
64 - channel down
69 - channel up

You can use the MakeHex program to create all the possible functions for NEC1:48 and then use the above list to select the one for each button of whatever layout you either create or copy from some other device.

Note that the BenQ PE-8700 CCF at [Link: remotecentral.com] is not the same set of IR signals. (Usually I'd advise trying a CCF for same brand and type but different model. This time I know it's wrong).

Thanks that helps a great deal, however I downloaded the makehex program and the above file for the Benq 6100 however I cannot make heads or tails of what to do. If is not a long process could someone do the makehex process and email the codes?

It's easier to post the condensed form Pronto Hex, rather than MakeHex output (the behavior is the same inside the Pronto).

In each case you take just the six four-digit numbers (not the dash and function name) and paste it into the View/Edit/IR dialog in ProntoEdit.
