i,ve just got one of these off ebay and although i can learn all my units remotes quite well i was hoping to use prontoedit to make the home page and transport buttons a little more interesting.well i,m so confused as too how to do this.i,ve downloaded some ccf files from here but cant seem to work out how to incorporate them into my remote,if i make changes to lets say the home page then download it just downloads the whole ccf file, its driving me mad.please please help me.i need to control a sony t.v a yamaha av amp a technics cd player and a thomson sky digi box.
as i say i can do this with the basic functions on the remote and it all works fine, but the reason i got this remote was because you can make it look better.
any help would be welcome,or can someone programm it for me(that would be even better.)
thanks again

Whenever you download a CCF, you replace everything that is in the Pronto.

You need to put all of your devices and their codes into the one CCF. You would normally set up your home page to act as a menu to control your devices.

You should read the ProntoEdit online hlep as well as the FAQ here.

What I have done in the past is to take two of the CCF's that I need and join them together, by merging one into the other. Then I delete all the stuff I don't need, and merge the next into that. Keep merging until you have all the devices you need. Then just modify the pages to make them look however you want.
If you have a CCF open, and tell ProntoEdit to open another, it will ask if you want to merge it with the current file. Say yes, then you will have 2 CCFs in 1. You will have 2 MAIN sections, and probably 2 of other stuff, so make sure you delete the ones you don't want.
