If I were you, I would try it out yourself first. Browse through this website and look at files people have built. It really is easier than it looks.

A central reason for programming it yourself is that if any codes have to be learned, they might not work if not verified with the actual equipment.

Beyond that, once the commands are learned, we make macros to do several things in sequence, and sometimes the sequence needs to be adjusted, often with short time intervals between commands.

I have done LOTS of these remotes and would not want to do one without going to the location.

Jeff is right. It is easier than it looks. Learning the program may be challenging, as any program is at first, but it gets easy real quickly.

And if you are doing the programming yourself, you will be able to ask us here on the site for advice about particular issues, then try out the answers and immediately know if the problem were solved. If I were trying to program it over the internet, you and I would have to go back and forth (and then again) with every difficulty, and it would take much longer. I find, too, that sometimes problems are harder to deal with than to describe. Unless you have spent some time working with technicians, you may not understand just how hard it is sometimes to accurately communicate what kinds of problems you are having, especially if you have a symptom, make as assumption about its cause, then describe it by the conclusion you make...rather than by the symptom. Unfortunately, that issue is a big time-waster when things don't work right, and again, I would want to be there or have the person doing the programming (you) there to deal with the issues.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
