Anybody use the output of the Marantz remote extender to try to drive a Xantech product's "IR IN" ? ?
Marantz tells me that each port of the extender puts out up to 15 mA. If I connect one, or even two in parallel, of these outputs to the IR IN of the Xantech CC12, the commands never work. I have verified that the commands are learned properly because I can get a dinky link to pick up the IR coming out of the RF extender, with the dinky link's bus going into the CC12.
I can boost the voltage coming out of the RF Extender, but the simplest approach will also invert the voltage, and I don't know if THAT is a problem.
Any ideas?

Last night I tried lowering the voltage going into the CC12 with a variable resistor. The CC12 switched once but I could not find a setting of the resistor where it ever worked again. I gave up and am using the dinky link.

Did you try reversing the polarity instead?
