Hi..I've downloaded a great ccf , but cannot get the marantz to learn my codes ( over the imported ones)..the screen beeps and says "OK", but the code doesnt work.. I am also having problems saving altered files on PC.. it says not valid file..yet the changes i made seemed insignificant.. thoughts PLEASE !!!!..

Well, the first thing I'd try is running the latest firmware updater (v1.4.1) and trying to learn those codes again.

Is the ccf write-protected?

.. hi thanks..nope- trying to learn the codes via the handset.. very weird..it says ok , yet doesnt work on the equipment..

i dont think so.. but i also tried to chg the code for the hard " mute" button to run my lights instead, but the code ( and wording) stayed with the mute code...
how could i tell, or change it if it was protected?

The write protection check box is in the home page properties. Uncheck it and you can modify everything.

By the way, rcgeek, I could not work out using one or more outputs from the RF extender to control a Xantech switcher. I had to use a dinky link, WAY more expensive than a short cable with a mini plug!
