Is there a way the Pronto can use it's built in clock to program a “button” to execute a macro that effectively shuts off the system after a certain “programmed” period of time. For example I push this "button" marked timer and and select 15, 30 or 60 mins, then after that amount of time it executes a macro program to shut off the TV, VCR, TUNER.
I don't have a timer on a plasma TV that needs the tuner, VCR to run so I'm trying to find a way.

You can program the pronto to do this action at a certain time of the day. eg 10pm. But not a a certain amount of time.
You can however, put the amount of delays that will equal amount of minutes that you want. But the downfall for that, is that the display and back light is going to be on for the whole amount of time.

Plus, if you press a button it all stops. Your best bet would be to set up some "easily customizable" timer buttons on the Macro side of the remote.
