How do you associate buttons on your home page to different components.

What do you mean by that? Labling them, or having a jump go to the different components?

I'll guess you mean making a button have a command on it.

First, if you do not have ProntoEdit 4, go to the files section and get it.

Second, when you have opened a ccf in ProntoEdit $ (PE4), and you click on it, then hit Insert to open its properties, the tab "Action" (if I remember right) lists what happens when this button is pushed. If you go to the left and click on "Alias," a list of your components will drop down, and you can maneuver through the list to find the command that you want that button to do.

Oops. You can, if you already have this command somewhere else in the remote. Typically on another button. So you would already have it in there. Hmmm.

If you teach the command to the button, THAT will associated that button to that command for that component.

Otherwise, see what King of typos wrote.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
