I have a damaged RC5000 (chewed by the dog, touchscreen cracked!) and am looking to replace it with a Pronto RU940
Can I use my Marantz CCF on the Pronto without modification?
Many thanks

Yes you can if it is, in fact, an RC5000 (or RC5000i). The RC5200 has a larger usable screen space than the comparable Philips remote and would most likely need modification.

Yes, you will lose some of the features, such as back/forward and multiple jumps.

If only the screen is damaged your in luck. There is a guy on ebay selling replacement screens that work for 12 dollars and 3 dollars shipping. Rechargable batterie for $9 + 3 shipping. It worked in my RC5000, better than new. Search ebay for philips pronto and scroll. Hope this helps
