Ever since I purchased my Pronto TSU2000/01 some time ago, the only complaint I have is the display is just too dim. Did anyone ever come up with a replacement display that is much brighter and doesn't require a Phd to install it? I guess I could just purchase a new color unit, but this one still works great. Thanks, KKM

Yes, I think so. There is a section in the FAQs about this.
You can get to the FAQs from a link in the first page that comes up when you select the type of device you want to see FILES for.

No. There are only instructions on how to replace a screen. The different versions of the sreen are mostly the same.

I seem to recall that a lot of people complained about some of the early production TSU2000's screens as being low contrast (don't think backlight brightness was a factor).
