I have a 2000 and I want to update my CCF to 6000. In what format should I save the color images? How many colors? I have photoshop and understand there is a color palette, however I can't get it to load in Photoshop.

Thanks,

Color images should be saved in 256 color .bmp format. If you're using Tonto, you can use .gif images. The color pallet is available for download here: [Link: carltonbale.com]. I believe Photoshop uses the .act file.

You should read Daniel's paper on preparing color graphics for the Pro. It is in the Features section.
