Is there any way in ProntoEdit or ProntoEditNG to make it so if the remote asks to revert to original conf. that I can make it revert to my configuration that I downloaded?

In ProntoEdit with Developer mode turned on, under System Properties, you can tell it to make your config the revert config. Only works if your config is not very big.
There is no equivalent in ProntoEdit NG, and I don't understand why you would mention both editors as they are for completely different products.
