This might seem simple to some, but how do I program this remote (rc5200)? I can't find the codes for my equipment. Can someone please lend a hand?
Thanks

If you are beginning, follow the instructions in the manual as far as teaching codes to the remote.
The computer program will allow you to customize it, including replacing the graphics if you want to (and everybody does) with graphics that folks have uploaded to this site in the files section.
Two strange but important things: When you are hooked up to a computer with the remote, do not use the method of learning commands that involves the program, because this has screwed up since the first of these remotes came out. Just learn the commands directly into the remote, then upload them to the computer. Also, when you are downloading a file to the remote, DO NOT push the "cancel" button. Just because that button is there, does not mean you will not be sent into repetitive non-working remote but beeping every twenty seconds hell. If you do that, you will need to find the solution for it in the FAQs and learn a bit about using the Windows program Hyperterminal.
Otherwise, good luck and have fun!
And, oh, yes, one thing that just torques the crap out of a lot of us on the site is a thread with a question that is so vague (see the first response above) that we either a) cannot answer it, or b) have to write a term paper to cover the things you might have meant but did not say, or c) throw sarcasm and irony at you to try to get you to NEVER do that again.

In the files section, under Pronto and Marantz remotes you will find the Unofficial FAQ that explains everthing. It was written by people who have experienced what you will go through. Have fun
