This may be somewhere in the FAQs, but I couldn't find it. Is it normal for all learned IR codes to be lost if you go back and modify the CCF file and then upload it again to the remote? I only changed 1 or 2 buttons. How do you modify a CCF file and keep everything? Thanks.

No that shouldn't happen. Did you learn the codes on the remote and then forget to upload to the computer? If you didn't upload, the ccf you modified didn't have the codes in the first place.

Not to be pickey, but it's download to the remote, and upload to the computer. I mention this just so as not to be misunderstood.

Make changes to your ccf.

Download it to your remote.

Learn the ir codes.

Upload to the pc, to save the ir codes.

The next time that you want to make changes to your ccf, use the ccf that has the ir codes in it. So that when you download it, you'll have the codes already.

NO. But depending on what you mean, the other guys probably have covered it.

Do you mean ALL 1 or 2 buttons that you changed? Or did you do this, and now ALL IR CODES in the whole remote are gone? Or are some of them learned and some imported, say, from a file on this site?

More details, please, unless the other guys totally answered you.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.
