The screen on my RC5200 has just stop working for no reason. The display of the screen works fine but when you touch the screen nothing happens, all the hard buttons also work fine. When I have reset the remote or unplugged the battery and plugged it back in the remote will bootup and sometimes a softbutton on the remote will be active sending IR for about 20sec. When this happens none of the buttons hard and soft do not work. I have reloaded firm and differnet .ccf's but nothing seems to resolve the problem.
Thanks
Dylan

Dylan,

Certainly sounds like either a bad screen or bad connection to the screen. You've certainly tried all the common fixes. You might try taking it apart to check the connections, but is it still under warrantee - 3 years in the states. If so, that would be the best route to take.
