First sorry for my bad english... I have a pronto tsu2000. Sometimes the touch screen works perfect. Sometimes it does not work at all, it seems freezed. After a bit of time it begins to work fine as before... Can someone help me to solve this problem ??? Is this a matter of contacts ???
Thanks
Giovanni from Italy

Try reflashing your firmware. Also, read up on this thread that was posted yesterday. [Link: remotecentral.com]Rob

John, You can try redownloading your ccf, and putting in fresh batteries, but normally reflashing the firmware is the best bet. Just to make sure, from within Pronto Edit, you selected tools, and then update firmware - right? Jim L

I did reflash using PE 4.05 - tools - update firmware. I have problems with the "factory" ccf. It wakes itself up, changes screens, reboots, freezes, gets stuck while sending an IR. Totaly demonized. Does anybody service these?

Sounds like what happens when batteries are low. Try putting 4 brand new ones in. I've replace one or two before and it wouldsay the battery level was fine, but not work right.

It acts even more bizarre with fresh batteries, kills them quickly too. I can take a battery pack out of another (perfectly working) 2000 and it will act up. I’m wondering if joecas here, or Lee L here [Link: remotecentral.com] ever fixed their prontos? Seems old prontos don’t die, they go insane…
