Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to make a macro for a tv channel and the sound on a fixed level. The problem is that you don't know the level of the tv sound before you change the channel.

Some Yamaha receivers can do this since they support discrete volume controls. Otherwise the only way may be to put several volume down commands (enough to ensure the volume goes all the way down) and then a defined number of volume up commands until you reach the desired level.
