I have been having a problem with unreliable control of numbers for RCA Sat receivers..After learning numbers 0-9 from the remote, I find that sometimes when you try to enter a channel such as 337 for example..
you push 3 3 7 and the pronto only enters 37
or 1 0 0 would only enter 10 etc...On a pre-programmed Channel icon such as HBO 5 delay 0 delay 2..does the same thing..I have tried various delays and still have
unreliable control of these receivers...Any thoughts???

On my RCA DTC-100 I use 200ms delays and that works very well.

I haven't had any problems with my RCA and my pro. Maybe your codes are dirty.

press & hold the oem button until the pronto indicates it has learned the code.

also, don't learn into pe, learn directly into the unconnected pronto.

you also don't say how long your delays are.....try longer delays.
