Excuse me if this has already been asked or answered, but is there any way to make a last channel function if the component doesn't have that feature?

There is no way to make a button/ir code for something if it's known.
Your device can receive and know some commands that is NOT on the remote that came with it.
So go to the file section of this web site. And just look for your device in the secontion. In this case look for a model number that is somewhat different. You don't want something really different, or else it might not work. However it could. But I would start your search with model numbers close to your's.
