Let's face it...this is a man's world and whats a girl like me to do? I just bought a Pronto TSU2000 and haven't the slightest clue on how to get this thing programmed the way I want it to be. I need a man with knowledge to help me out. Better yet to make things less complicated for me and for whoever helps me, I'm willing to pay $$$$. Whoever is willing to help me out...you name your price and will discuss this. I already know what I want because I did a layout on paper. I don't need or care for designs. Everthing can stay factory for all I care. I just want things to work for me according to the way I have things set up. I have a friend that has seen my remotes and house setup and laughs at me. He says that according to what I have it shouldnt take anymore than 30 minutes to complete. But the thing is that I don't know what I'm doing! I'm not a computer whiz! And I wish I can FIND this guy to do it for me but I lost touch with him. Well...can somebody help lil' ol me? Please!

Are you sure you want to pay money???????

Sorry but we're like this here. Just tell us what you are having problems with right now. Can you not learn, use ProntoEdit (which should be version 4.05) or anything else your having problems with?

The reason why I (we) don't want to do it for you. Is because it will be better for you to learn yourself on how to do it. Just in case you want to change something, or whatever. This remote can work around YOU, you don't work around it.

Best place to start reading, is the FAQ's There is no simple instructions on how to use ProntoEdit. So just come on here with your questions as we're always helping people out. More men than women. So don't be complaining about men never asking for help. Got it?

As someone would say on here.....

"Just play with the puppy."

PookyX,

I'll step up to the plate. Call me and I'll learn ya on the ins and outs of programing your Pronto.

What I won't do is trade endless emails.

Wanna make a quick buck? Bet him he can't do it in 30 minutes. I spend more than 30 minutes on EVERY Pronto I do. I tend to think I'm pretty good at programming them (But maybe I suck), but I can't do one in less than 30 minutes unless it's a clone of another clients remote.
Also, if you spent the money on the remote, you should do up the buttons. Bland boring buttons are on all remotes. Why not spruce it up since you can?

Pooky,

No need to panic. It takes a while to learn.

The best is to start with a good basis, particularly if you're not an expert.

Try downloading one of the designs on this site (go to the file section and look for Daniel Tonk's own CCF). Once you have the graphics part done, you basically use the remote itself to learn the functions.

It is not all that difficult once you isolate the various tasks. Try eliminating graphics from the equation (by using someone's CCF).

Once that's all set, and the remote is basically behaving like a few remotes, start thinking about how you'd LIKE things to work and start asking questions here and reading the FAQ. That should help you get started.
